Our Nia classes are sessions filled with joy and movement, they are open to any age or fitness level. You will rediscover your authentic playful self through this healing integrative program that will leave you feeling more energized, grounded, relaxed and supported. Nia exercise can be used to improve a variety of health issues including chronic pain, anxiety, depression, fatigue, injuries and more. Dancing with us, you will become part of a safe and supportive community.
Please note, group sessions are a Scent Free Zone. All classes are open to the public. Drop-in’s are welcomed.
Regular group sessions are usually held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at the Emerald City Judo facility in Redmond, WA. However, due to the COVID-19, classes are now only virtual. See Schedule Section for details including class days and times. If these class times don’t work for you, check out NiaTV.

Nia Class Rates – Pay from the Heart
I want everyone to have access to the healing powers of Nia. That is why I’ve decided to implement a Pay from the Heart, donation based, system. This means that you may choose how much you pay, as well as how frequently. If you are interested in setting up a monthly automated donation, please let me know. Participants may attend class for free and all I ask is to consider how you can be of service to others.
Class rates in the community range from $6 – 25 per class. Below is what the previous rates were, for an example. Any donation will be accepted with love and gratitude. No refunds will be given for donations.
• Drop-in: $18
• “New to Nia” 3-class pass: $30
• 4-class pass: $56
• 8-class pass: $96
• Monthly Unlimited Pass: $90
• 3-Month Unlimited Pass: $240
You may pay online with options for the above or a donation section to choose the amount.
-WE ARE A SCENT FREE ZONE-
I, Pauline, and many of my students, have severe reactions to any scented products around us. In order to offer this class safely, students are required to adhere to this policy.
Please don’t wear perfume and or any products that contain fragrance the day of class. This also includes essential oils. Examples of scented products are: lotions, deodorants, hair gel, hair spray, laundry detergent, dryer sheets and more. Smokers also must be free of any smoke on their clothes or in their hair.
Unscented products like lotion and deodorant are available onsite for free or donation. Some fitness clothes are available onsite to borrow.
What is NIA?
Nia is a combination of dance, martial arts and mindfulness, suitable for all fitness levels. Going deeper than a regular workout, a Nia session addresses every aspect of your life – body, mind and soul.
